About Silva

Originally from Portugal, she is an HCPC-registered Speech and Language Therapist who graduated from the Escola Superior de Saúde do Alcoitão in Lisbon in 2014. She has been living and working in England for the past 12 years and is fluent in Portuguese and English. She supports both children and adults in developing functional communication skills that promote confidence and independence.

She has worked across community, charity and private settings, supporting clients across the lifespan. Her experience includes working with children with communication needs in partnership with families and schools, as well as adults with acquired brain injuries and neurological communication changes. These roles have shaped her flexible, collaborative and person-centred approach.

Her practice is guided by evidence-based assessment and tailored intervention, focusing on practical communication outcomes. She works closely with families and multidisciplinary teams to ensure strategies are consistent and effective in everyday life. Registered with the HCPC, she is committed to delivering high-quality, supportive care. Outside of work, she enjoys time with loved ones, exploring new places and learning about wellbeing and personal development.
